Rosaline stepped into Milo's strike, putting her sword in between her body and Milo's blade, their swords grinded past each other as Rosaline moved past Milo. She made ready to strike at Milo again.

Milo turned quickly around, he made to hit Rosaline's sword hand to prevent her from hitting him.

Moving her arms out of the way of Milo's attack Rosaline made another attack with the flat of her sword.

Milo narrowly ducked out of the way of Rosaline's attack. He stepped back examining Rosaline's blade, looking for faults in its metal.

Rosaline made another swing at Milo using the flat of her blade. Milo was getting better at fighting, usualy she would have been winning by now.

Milo steped back, just out of the range of Rosaline's blade. He narrowed his eyes focusing on the small fault in Rosaline's blade about four centimeters from the swords hilt. He swung the blade, directing it at the swords weak point.

Rosaline realized what was happening only when it was too late. She watched as Milo's blade seamed to tear through her's. She was a little suprised, this was the first time that milo beat her.

Samuel was a little surprised that Milo, who seemed like such a bookworm, could actually fight, even if all it was was one lucky shot. But it wasn't the fight Samuel was watching as much as it was how Milo was acting. It seemed like he was different when around Rosaline. Samuel decided to wait until Rosaline left then he would talk to Milo.

Milo set his sword down. He examined the broken blade on the ground quickly, then he turned to Rosaline. "good match" he said, "I can fix the sword if you want".
Rosaline nodded, "Yes, good match" she passed Milo the hilt of the broken blade. She smiled and put Milo's blade back in its sheath, she couldn't wait to see what Milo would do with the sword, because she knew that Milo never just fixed something, he always added his own ideas to it. But of course she had to wait to see the results, so she turned and went up to the upper deck to double check the maps.

Seeing Rosaline leaving, Samuel comes around the corner and walks over to Milo.
"Well, Milo." Said Samuel, "Now seems like as good a time as any."

Lust decided to keep watching. Anything else would probably make things awkward.

Milo turned his head towards Samuel as he picked up the pieces of Rosaline's long sword "what?" he said questioningly. He ran through a few reforging methods in his mind as he turned his focus back to the broken blade.

"Well," Replied Samuel, "Didn't i say something about you working on your smile?" Then he put his hand on Milo's shoulder. "I think I'll help you with that."

"Okay?..." Milo said questioningly as he stood up holding the pieces of the blade carefully in his hand. He moved slowly towards the lower deck, giving Samuel time to follow him. He was already mentally selecting what tools he would use to repair the blade.

Good. trust me kid, this will help you win over a lady's heart. it alone won't be enough, but it's a start. now would you happen to have a mirror we can use?" Samuel went on like this as he followed Milo.
As soon as they left, Lust walked out into the open. She looked around to make sure no one was around, then began to do some exercises to make sure she was ready for a fight herself.

Milo tried his best to seem interested in what Samuel was saying as he selected tools from his pack. "I don't know where any mirrors are" he might have suggested the one in Rosaline's room but he didn't dislike Samuel enough to send him on a suicide mission like that.

"Oh! Well that may be a problem." Samuel began to rethink things a bit. "I guess I'll have to wait until later....or.... I could act as the mirror!"

Milo looked up at Samuel and raised an eyebrow "what?". Milo laid the sword's pieces and a few assorted tools out on the galley table.
